Summer: Part 2 : Florida and our 2 Year

We've started packing! We actually only have a few more days before we have to be packed up because when we return from Chicago we will hit the ground running with a few days to move. Unfortunately we will be gone during our official move out date-we'll pay for it unfortunately, but thankfully they at least gave us 2 days of flexibility when we get back to get out of our current place.  We've emptied bookshelves and are starting to pack up anything we can't throw in the back of our cars and drive down the hill : )

While I'm packing up in the morning and early afternoon, Shane is still sweating it out in the Atlanta heat out on the field coaching. During the mornings they have workouts and Tuesday nights they have a 7 on 7 passing league. Here are some of his players regrouping as Shane calls the next play.

. . . . . .

This past weekend we drove down to Jacksonville Florida for Brad's graduation from the Diving Academy. Unfortunately, his graduation was postponed til the end of July, but we decided to still go down and spend the day with him and Shane's parents and make the most of it! It's about a  6 hour drive and we decided to stay an extra night to celebrate our 2 year anniversary!
We stayed a little bit north of Jacksonville on Amelia Island near Fernandina Beach.
I was (and still am) sick with a terrible head cold-but still trying to make the best of it as we scoped out the island.
Our hotel was right on the beach.
Blessed to be married to this man : )
Looking a little congested, but mostly just happy to have been married to my best friend for 2 years!!!!

It was great to see Brad and Shane's parents(and to meet Brad's girlfriend Allison!!!)
I will say though, I think Jacksonville-although we were there for only 24 hours- has Atlanta beat in the humidity department!!!!

Right now I am loading up on Chicken Soup, Vitamin C, Mucinex, and the Neti Pot to try and zap this cold before we head to Chicago. Shane woke up congested this morning-so any prayers for our health are coveted!

Currently trying to trust God with many things, including our travels, our own plans and goals that may or may not be part of God's plan, and a current car situation that is a slight monkey wrench!!! (Failed emmisions test....I hate cars) Praying that God will be patient with me as I remember all the times he has been faithful and that he always provides!

Looking forward to seeing my family in just a matter of days now!!!

That's all for now!
