25 Weeks : )
Quick Life Update: Here I am ever growing at 25 weeks. I've really been battling with nausea and heartburn still, which are closely related, and have tried everything from eating small snacks, drinking milk, Antacids, and chewable Papaya Enzymes. This week I broke down for some temporary relief and tried taking Zantac. It is definitely helping me sleep! I didn't want to take anything like that or prevacid, but I figure it is temporary and since it feels like my stomach is in my throat right now, and that my throat is bleeding and on fire-I would give myself a break!
Shane's season just wrapped up about a week ago, losing to Jefferson County in the 4th round of the playoffs. It was a disappointment, and the end always is, but they truly had a great season, especially considering it was mostly an entirely new coaching staff, and they had lost a lot of their athletes due to the coaching drama previously. They made it to the semi-final round their first year there-and all of the players and coaches should be proud!! In my opinion it is also somewhat comforting to know that we were beat by what ended up being (this weekend) the state champs (who beat last years state champs(Calhoun) at the dome Saturday afternoon).
Shane and I cannot wait for the baby to arrive and have just started some preparations. I look forward to getting things read after the holidays and finally spending some concentrated time getting prepared for our little girl.
This week we look forward to finishing up Final Exams at school, celebrating with Garret Granberg and Amelia at their wedding Friday night, and starting our epic pregnant road trip to Chicago come Saturday morning!
Currently trying to savor this holiday season as it always seems to go too quickly!!!
