# 4 . . . .

With no snow plows in sight or ear shot and non existent salt trucks-we find ourselves contemplating what another day of no work will bring us. The lack of mail delivery has me feeling slightly cut off from the world and asking," What happened to the mantra 'through rain, sleet, and snow'?"

This morning it sounded like someone was either cutting down trees in the parking lot or drilling a hole into the side of our apartment building-Shane started laughing as he looked out the window and saw a landscaper walking around with a leaf blower-blowing away the snow and ice chunks along the walkways! I guess you gotta use what you got! : )

Needless to say Shane and I are in need of some structure-and can't wait for the ice to melt! This weekend they are calling for temps in the high 40's with rain-so hopefully that will do the job and life will return back to "normal."
