The Beginning of the Rest of our Lives : )

Here are some highlights from our first week and a half!

First lineup of Newlywed Meals can be scary but so far I have yet to burn down the apartment, or the food for that matter.

Night 1: Hardy's brought us over food (They are always looking out for us)
Night 2: Finally made first trip to Grocery Store. . . still leftovers :)
Night 3: Turkey Burgers=Not Leftovers, but quick and easy (and as long as Shane has his Barbeque sauce he is a happy man)
Night 4: Hardy's had us over for dinner (Taking care of us again)
Night 5: Pesto & Sun Dried Tomato Fusili (Pictured Below)

Just a simple Salad with Mom & Dad's house dressing (Finally found something to make it in at the third grocery store I visited !~ :(

Clearly I have not figured out portions yet=this is about enough to feed 10 people-or Shane and Michele for numerous leftovers :)

Night 6: Grilled Sandwiches (with leftover pesto from the pasta dish)
Night 7: Artichoke Chicken (Thank goodness Shane liked it..because I LOVE IT!)
Night 8: Grammies Spaghetti and Meatballs (Pictured Below)

I have yet to venture into making Grandma Carol's Spaghetti Gravy.
But once I have an entire afternoon to devote to it ( and some extra $ :) haha) I will
post the result :)

Night 9: Tyler's Ultimate Enchiladas (not as ultimate as I would have liked but edible)

Aaand some guacamole to round it off...I may have just wanted an excuse to use the chip and dip server......

Well we are going over to some friend's house tonight for small group and dinner, and Shane leaves tomorrow morning for F.C.A. camp for a few days, so I'll have some time to think up another round of meals : ) thanks to all who have contributed recipes, technique, input, and persevered through many meal experiments in my adolescents (including soggy noodles, uncooked hamburger meat and much more!!!!)
